I made the trip to St. Louis over the weekend to do a session with these guys at Forrest Park. Sure glad spring is finally is here!!

Well, 2009 has come and gone, and the numbers are out. I was kind of curious about how many jobs we did over the year so I decided to count them. 68 total!! That’s crazy, but I guess that’s why we felt busy. We specialize in weddings, but we also cover a lot of senior pictures and family portraits. The mix keeps life exciting.

Here are some highlight from 2009. You will also find these in the main “Couples 2009″ gallery.

No one likes bad weather at weddings…except photographers…shhhhhh. I’m half serious. As long as it doesn’t rain, we’re happy. Look how the dark clouds in this picture adds a crazy dramatic effect. This wedding was last Saturday, and it stopped raining right before the ceremony and started up again two minutes after we were finished with the outside portraits. Yay!!

Added a little flash through an umbrella from the side, and an easy-but-great-looking portrait.

I just decided my favorite part of weddings is the speeches. That’s when all the incriminating and hilarious stories come out. Here’s the groom getting roasted.

Bride and flower girl chillin’ before the ceremony. This bride (and groom) planned the day with lots of buffer time, and it made a huge difference on the mood. I don’t think I saw anyone stressed the whole day. Congrats Dominic & Amanda! One of the most fun weddings yet.
